Note: This must be done while receiving an active transmission from the station whose DCS code is to be determined. This can be done in either the Frequency Mode (VFO) or Channel Mode (MR).
[MENU] [1] [0] (selects menu 10 - R-DCS)
[MENU] (activates R-DCS entry mode)
[ * SCAN ] (press and hold until scanning of DCS codes begins)
The UV-5R will scan through the available DCS codes until the
correct code is detected.
[MENU] (to save the scanned code into the menu 10 register)
Use the detected code to program your T-DCS code.
Don't forget to set Menu 10 back to OFF.

Hey there..
this is tough..
I'm a single dad, in a place I never thought I'd be, with two young kids counting on me. Laid off and seriously struggling, I'm reaching out in a way I never imagined – through this message. I'm so embarrassed that I've made everything about this request anonymous. No emails, no calls. This is just me, asking you for help, no strings attached.
